Clinical Coding Auditor and Trainer Programmes
Clinical Coding Auditor Programme (CCAP)
The CCAP provides training on the application of the Clinical Coding Audit methodology to individuals who possess the necessary general and specialist knowledge and skills to conduct an audit.
The Clinical Coding Data Quality Framework supports auditors in conducting a regular internal programme of clinical coding audits, to ensure the quality of coded clinical data is accurate and comprehensive, supporting correct reimbursement and reliable and effective clinical and statistical analysis.

Clinical Coding Trainer Programme (CCTP)
The CCTP creates a body of clinical coding trainers who are skilled in using our national training materials to ensure consistent delivery and distribution of national clinical coding standards. This ensures that coders are trained to the necessary standards to produce accurate coded data.
